Flowerbomb was one of the fragrances I was most curious to test because it's one of those names that has been around forever in the beauty world.

I had heard about it for years, and because it's such an iconic perfume, I was really excited to finally see how it wore on my skin.

From the very first spray, the floral notes came through immediately.

This is absolutely a bold floral fragrance.

The jasmine, rose, and patchouli all make a strong first impression, and for me, it definitely leaned much stronger and more floral than what I naturally gravitate toward.

There's no question that this perfume makes a statement.

It has a rich, almost dramatic floral presence that lingers beautifully, and I can absolutely understand why so many people love it.

That said, for my personal taste, it was simply too floral and too strong.

I tend to prefer fresher daytime scents or warmer evening fragrances, so this one felt a little overwhelming for me.

It's beautiful, but it definitely isn't subtle.

I think this would be perfect for someone who loves classic floral perfumes, especially for evenings, weddings, special events, or cooler weather when stronger scents tend to wear beautifully.

One thing I did appreciate is how well it lasted.

This is definitely one of those perfumes that stays with you throughout the day and lingers beautifully on clothing.

I always love testing fragrances with lotion pairings because it helps me see how the scent evolves and whether I can soften or enhance certain notes.

For Flowerbomb, my favorite lotion pairings are Bath & Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom, L'Occitane Rose, and Salt & Stone Black Rose & Oud.

The Japanese Cherry Blossom pairing keeps it in that classic floral family, while the Salt & Stone adds a deeper, more elevated finish.

A fun fact about this fragrance is that the bottle was intentionally designed to resemble a faceted diamond grenade, which ties directly into the name “Flowerbomb.”

Another reason this perfume became so iconic is that it has remained one of the most recognizable luxury floral fragrances for years.

This fragrance was part of my wear-test lineup for the week, where I spent several days testing different scents to see how they evolved on the skin, how long they lasted, and which ones truly stood out.
