My First Impression

NOYZ Unmute ended up being one of the most interesting fragrances I tested recently. The scent profile immediately caught my attention because it uses notes that are not very common in most mainstream perfumes.

After wearing it for the day, I completely fell in love with how unique and warm it felt. Even though it was outside my normal fragrance comfort zone, it quickly became one I kept wanting to smell again.

How It Smells

The fragrance blends pistachio, cinnamon and incense, creating a scent that feels both creamy and slightly spicy. The pistachio adds a soft sweetness, while the cinnamon and incense bring warmth and depth.

The result is a fragrance that feels modern, bold and a little different from the typical perfumes I usually reach for. It has a gourmand quality, but it is not simply a sugary or dessert-like scent.

The incense adds a darker, more atmospheric layer that balances the creaminess of the pistachio. That contrast is what makes the fragrance feel unusual and keeps it from becoming too sweet.

How It Wore Throughout the Day

Even though Unmute was outside my usual fragrance comfort zone, it quickly became one I kept wanting to smell throughout the day. The pistachio remained creamy, while the cinnamon and incense gave the scent more warmth as it developed.

It had enough presence to feel noticeable without becoming overwhelming. The fragrance felt rich and interesting on my skin and became even more enjoyable as the notes settled together.

When I Would Wear It

The warmth of this scent makes it especially nice for evenings, cooler weather or situations where you want something a little more noticeable. I could see wearing it for dinner, a night out or during fall and winter.

It feels bold enough for special occasions but still wearable enough to enjoy whenever you are in the mood for something warm, creamy and different.

What Makes It Stand Out

One of the most interesting things about Unmute is the combination of pistachio, cinnamon and incense. These notes are not often featured together in mainstream perfumes, which helps the fragrance stand apart from many of the sweeter vanilla and floral scents currently available.

The pistachio brings creaminess, the cinnamon adds spice and the incense creates depth. Together, they give the perfume a personality that feels warm, confident and a little unexpected.

The Story Behind Unmute

NOYZ is a newer fragrance brand focused on scents inspired by moods, self-expression and personality rather than relying only on traditional fragrance categories.

The name Unmute reflects the idea of expressing yourself openly and confidently. That concept fits the fragrance well because it does not smell quiet, predictable or designed to blend into the background.

How I Would Layer It

Unmute would layer beautifully with warm body lotions in vanilla, sandalwood or amber scents. A creamy vanilla lotion would make the pistachio feel softer and sweeter, while an amber lotion would deepen the cinnamon and incense.

Sandalwood would be another good choice for enhancing the warm woody character without covering up the unusual pistachio note. I would keep the body product smooth and creamy rather than overly fruity or floral.

Would I Buy It?

After testing Unmute, this is definitely one I would purchase a full bottle of. It was different from what I normally wear, but in the best possible way.

The combination of creamy pistachio, warm cinnamon and smoky incense made it one of the most memorable fragrances from my testing lineup. I also already have two other NOYZ fragrances waiting to be tested, so I am excited to see how those compare.
