Ariana Grande Cloud Perfume Review

Cloud by Ariana Grande ended up being my biggest surprise of the week. I love vanilla fragrances, but I expected this one to lean sweeter and heavier than what I usually enjoy. Instead, it felt light, creamy, and incredibly easy to wear. After testing several perfumes that week, this was the one I kept reaching for the most, and it quickly became my favorite.
The fragrance opens with lavender, pear, and bergamot before transitioning into creamy coconut, praline, and vanilla. As it settles on the skin, the scent becomes warm and comforting while still staying airy and fresh. The vanilla and coconut combination creates a cozy feeling without becoming overly sugary.
This is the type of fragrance that works beautifully for everyday wear. It feels perfect for casual outings, running errands, brunch with friends, or even a relaxed date night. Because it stays fairly soft and approachable, it also works well in work settings where stronger fragrances might feel overwhelming.
If you enjoy layering fragrances, Cloud pairs especially well with vanilla or coconut-based body lotions. Using a light vanilla lotion underneath helps amplify the creamy base notes and makes the scent last even longer throughout the day.
One of the reasons this fragrance became so popular is that many fragrance lovers believe it smells very similar to the luxury perfume Baccarat Rouge 540, which costs several hundred dollars more. Because of that, Cloud is often described as one of the best affordable alternatives to the famous scent.
The bottle itself also adds a fun touch. It sits inside a removable cloud-shaped base that Ariana Grande said represents positivity and optimism. The design mirrors the fragrance itself — soft, comforting, and uplifting.
Despite being a celebrity fragrance, Cloud received serious recognition within the fragrance world and even won awards from the Fragrance Foundation, something that rarely happens for celebrity perfumes.
After wearing all the perfumes I tested that week, this one stood out the most. It’s the fragrance I would most likely purchase in a full-size bottle and the one I’m most excited to keep wearing. I’m also now very curious to try more fragrances from Ariana Grande’s line.
This perfume was part of my fragrance testing lineup this week, where I spent several days wearing different scents to see how they performed, how the notes evolved on the skin, and which ones stood out the most.
