Week 3 of my perfume testing gave me such a fun mix of fragrances to try, and I'm definitely starting to notice a pattern in what I naturally gravitate toward.

I'm learning that I truly love fresh, clean, and refreshing scents for daytime, but I also enjoy a richer, warmer fragrance for evening wear. Rose-heavy florals, on the other hand, are starting to feel a little too strong for my personal style.

This week included everything from light, airy everyday perfumes to bold signature scents, and one fragrance completely stole the show for me.

Here's my honest review of each one.

Marc Jacobs Daisy

Marc Jacobs

Daisy was exactly what I hoped it would be — light, feminine, and incredibly refreshing.

The scent opens with a bright fruity freshness and settles into a soft floral finish that feels clean and easy to wear. It instantly gave me that effortless everyday perfume feel, the kind of fragrance you can spray on in the morning and know it will work for almost any occasion.

This was one of my favorite daytime scents of the week because it never felt overpowering.

My review: Really nice, light, and refreshing.

Best time to wear: morning, daytime, office, errands, brunch.

Scent wear: lasted around 4 to 6 hours on me, with a soft lingering scent on clothing.

Pairs well with: clean cotton lotion, light vanilla body mist, and fresh linen scents.

Fun fact: Daisy is one of the most iconic designer fragrances, and the bottle has become instantly recognizable in the beauty world.

Good Girl Blush by Carolina Herrera

This fragrance was beautiful, but it leaned much more rose-forward than I personally like.

It has a soft romantic floral scent with rosy and powdery undertones, and while it definitely smells feminine and polished, the rose note was the first thing I picked up.

For someone who loves classic florals, this would probably be a gorgeous choice. For me, it just felt a little too floral.

My review: Nice light scent, but a little too rose smelling for me.

Best time to wear: daytime date, spring, lunch, or dressy daytime events.

Scent wear: around 6 to 8 hours.

Pairs well with: vanilla lotion, rose body oil, and soft musk spray.

Fun fact: The Good Girl line is famous for its stiletto heel bottle, which has become one of the most recognizable fragrance bottle designs.

Blooming Fire by Orebella

This one was probably the most unique scent I tried all week.

It has a warm, slightly spicy floral feel that smells elevated and different from a traditional fresh perfume. It felt more like a statement scent and something I would wear for evening or a special outing.

I genuinely loved how different this smelled.

Unfortunately, this one caused me to break out, which was disappointing because I really liked the fragrance itself.

My review: Loved the unique scent, but unfortunately it caused my skin to react.

I definitely wanted to mention this in case anyone else has sensitive skin.

Best time to wear: evening, date night, dinner, and summer nights.

Scent wear: around 6 to 8 hours.

Pairs well with: coconut lotion, amber body oil, and warm skin scents.

Fun fact: Orebella is the fragrance line created by Bella Hadid and is designed to feel more skin-enhancing and layered.

Kate Spade New York

Kate Spade

This was one of my top favorites of the week.

It smelled bright, clean, and refreshing with a modern feminine feel that I absolutely loved. It has that perfect balance of fresh and polished without being too sweet.

This feels like such an easy signature scent for daytime wear.

My review: Love this one. Nice and refreshing.

I could absolutely see myself repurchasing this.

Best time to wear: daytime, office, spring, summer, and everyday wear.

Scent wear: about 5 to 7 hours.

Pairs well with: clean skin lotion, white musk spray, and linen body cream.

Fun fact: This fragrance was inspired by the fresh, energetic vibe of New York City.

Angel by Mugler

This was hands down my favorite of Week 3.

The moment I tried it, I knew this was my kind of evening fragrance. It's warm, rich, sweet, and bold with that signature Mugler depth that makes it feel luxurious and unforgettable.

It definitely stands out from the lighter daytime perfumes I tested this week.

This is the kind of scent that lingers beautifully and feels perfect for nighttime.

My review: My favorite! I love this brand and can't wait to try them all.

I already know I want to explore more Mugler fragrances.

Best time to wear: night, date night, fall, winter, and evening events.

Scent wear: this lasted the longest for me — easily 8+ hours.

Pairs well with: vanilla body butter, warm amber lotion, and gourmand body mist.

Fun fact: Angel is widely known as one of the first modern gourmand perfumes and changed the fragrance industry when it launched.

Final Thoughts

This week really helped me figure out my scent preferences a little more.

I clearly lean toward fresh daytime scents like Daisy and Kate Spade, but I absolutely love a richer warm fragrance for nighttime.

My top favorites this week were Angel by Mugler, Kate Spade New York, and Marc Jacobs Daisy.

Angel completely stole the week for me.
