Week three of my perfume testing gave me such a fun mix of fragrances, and I am definitely starting to notice a pattern in what I naturally gravitate toward.
I truly love fresh, clean and refreshing scents for daytime, especially when they feel feminine without becoming overly sweet. At night, though, I am drawn to something much richer, warmer and more noticeable.
Rose-heavy florals are becoming a little more difficult for me. I can appreciate how beautiful and polished they are, but they often feel stronger or more traditional than the fragrances I naturally want to wear.
This week included light everyday perfumes, a unique fragrance that unfortunately did not agree with my skin and one bold scent that completely stole the show.

Daisy by Marc Jacobs
Daisy was exactly what I hoped it would be—light, feminine and incredibly refreshing.
It opens with a bright, fruity freshness before settling into a soft floral scent that feels clean and easy to wear. It immediately gave me that effortless everyday-perfume feeling.
This is the type of fragrance I could spray on in the morning without having to think about where I am going. It feels appropriate for the office, errands, brunch or a casual afternoon out.
What I liked most was that it never became overpowering. It stayed soft and fresh, which made it one of my favorite daytime scents of the week.
Really nice, light and refreshing. It is an easy fragrance I would happily wear again.
Good Girl Blush by Carolina Herrera
Good Girl Blush is undeniably beautiful, but it leaned much more rose-forward than I personally prefer.
It has a soft, romantic floral profile with rosy and powdery undertones. The fragrance feels feminine and polished, but the rose note was the first thing I noticed and remained prominent while I wore it.
For someone who loves classic florals, this could be a gorgeous choice. It feels pretty, elegant and well suited to a daytime date, spring lunch or dressier afternoon event.
For me, though, it was simply a little too floral. I enjoyed the softness of the fragrance, but I would have preferred more balance between the rose and the warmer notes.
A nice, light fragrance, but the rose came through more strongly than I personally enjoy.

Final Thoughts
My Week Three Favorites
This week confirmed that I love fresh, easy daytime scents and richer, warmer fragrances once evening rolls around.
Angel by Mugler was my clear favorite, followed closely by Kate Spade New York and Marc Jacobs Daisy. Blooming Fire had one of the most unique scent profiles, but the skin reaction made it difficult for me to enjoy. Good Girl Blush was pretty and polished, but the rose note was stronger than I personally prefer.
