My Lip Collection: The Products I Reach for Most and the Shades I’m Loving Right Now

My Lip Collection: The Products I Reach for Most and the Shades I’m Loving Right Now

I have been building out my lip collection category by category, and once I started organizing everything, I realized just how much goes into finding lip products that actually work for the look you want.

It is not just about picking a pretty color. It is about finish, tone, budget, comfort, and how the product wears throughout the day. Some days I want something glossy and easy. Other days I want a satin lipstick that looks polished without feeling too heavy. And sometimes I just want to focus on lip care first and make sure everything underneath looks smooth and hydrated.

That is really what inspired me to start building this collection.

I wanted a place where I could organize lip products by category, by finish, and by tone so it feels easier to shop and easier to discover new favorites. I am still adding to it, but I finally felt like it was time to start sharing what I have been putting together.

So if you love lip products as much as I do, take a look at some of the standouts in my collection and shop by category to find the products that fit your style best.

Why I Started Building My Lip Collection This Way

For the longest time, I would buy lip products one at a time without really thinking about how they fit into a bigger routine. I would have a few glosses, a lipstick or two, maybe a balm in my bag, but nothing felt organized.

Now I look at lips a little differently.

I like having options depending on the look I want. A glossy lip for everyday. A satin lipstick when I want something classic. A scrub or mask when my lips need extra help. A plumper when I want a little more shine and fullness. Once I started separating everything into categories, it became so much easier to see what I actually wanted to reach for.

That is also why I love the idea of shopping a collection instead of just one random product at a time. It helps you build a routine, not just a cart.

A Few Satin Lipsticks That Stood Out to Me

Satin lipsticks are one of my favorite finishes to browse because they give that polished lipstick look without feeling as flat or dry as some matte formulas. They are easy to wear, flattering on so many skin tones, and a great middle ground if you want color with a little softness.

A few budget-friendly satin shades in my collection that really stood out include:

L'Oréal Tickled Pink for a soft pink option
Maybelline Born With It for an easy everyday shade
Revlon Primrose for a classic rose tone
e.l.f. Effortless for a soft wearable finish

On the luxury side, there are some really pretty options too, especially if you want more elevated packaging or a treat-yourself lipstick moment. Some of the shades that caught my eye in my collection are:

Bobbi Brown Blush
Clinique Sugar pop
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Fair
Estée Lauder Show Stopper

I love that this category makes it easy to compare a budget option with a luxury one and still stay in the same tone family.

Glosses Are Still One of the Most Fun Categories to Shop

If there is one category that always pulls me in, it is lip gloss.

Gloss is one of the easiest ways to add a little shine and make a lip look finished without needing a full routine. You can wear it alone, layer it over liner, or add it on top of lipstick to change the whole look.

A few of the gloss shades in my collection that feel especially fun and wearable are:

NYX Butter Gloss in Fortune Cookie
NYX Butter Gloss in Madeleine
NYX Butter Gloss in Tiramisu
Clinique Pop Plush in Airkiss Pop
Tower 28 in Magic

I love having both affordable and elevated gloss options because sometimes I want something easy to throw on, and sometimes I want something that feels a little more special.

Lip Care Is Just as Important as Lip Color

One thing I have learned while building this collection is that lip color always looks better when the lip care is there first.

It does not matter how pretty the gloss or lipstick is if your lips are dry underneath. That is why I have been putting just as much attention into scrubs, masks, and treatments as I do into color products.

Some lip scrubs in my collection include:

e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator in Brown Sugar
e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator in Strawberry
Wonderskin Lip Scrub
EOS Brown Sugar Bubble
Revlon Kiss Sugar Scrub

For lip masks, I have been building out options like:

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Berry
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Vanilla
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Gummy Bear
Tarte Maracuja Lip Mask in Glaze
Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask

This part of the collection makes such a difference because it helps create the base for everything else.

Lip Balms, Plumpers, and Primers Help Finish the Routine

I also really like having the in-between categories filled out, because those are the products that make a collection feel complete.

For balms, I have everything from simple everyday options to more elevated tinted choices, including products from Burt's Bees, Revlon, Maybelline, Clinique, Clarins, Lancôme, and Summer Fridays.

For plumpers, there is a mix of budget and luxury options from e.l.f., Maybelline, L'Oréal, Kiko Milano, Too Faced, Tarte, and Buxom.

And for primer, I am building around staples like Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Primer and MAC Prep + Prime Lip.

I love including these categories because they help bridge the gap between care and color. They are the products that make everything else wear better, look smoother, or feel a little more finished.

Shop My Collection by Category

One of the main reasons I wanted to put this all together was to make lip shopping feel easier and more inspiring.

Instead of scrolling endlessly, you can shop the category that fits what you are looking for most. If you want shine, head to glosses. If you want color, start with satin lipsticks. If you want to prep your lips first, look at scrubs, masks, and balms.

Right now my collection includes:

Satin Lipsticks
Lip Gloss
Lip Balms
Lip Plumpers
Lip Primers
Lip Masks
Lip Scrubs
Lip Care Tools

And I still have more categories to build out.

The Best Part of Building a Lip Collection

The best part is that this does not have to be overwhelming.

You do not need every product. You just need the right products for the look you love most.

That is why I wanted to start sharing this collection now, even while it is still growing. It is a place to discover new shades, compare budget and luxury picks, and build a lip routine that feels a little more personal.

If you are looking for new lip favorites, take a look through my collection and shop by category to find the products that stand out to you.
